Street Style: BCBG

2015/01/img_83221.jpgEven the busiest city girl has time for some classic Wuthering Heights during lunch. How cute is that book, by the way? And the fact that it matches her glammed out BCBG outfit?? It’s all about the little things, people! (Speaking of books, my college girlfriends and I are starting a book club! First thing on the list : Brain on Fire! Comment below if you’re interested in joining && maybe I’ll start a separate Book Club blog segment!)

Street Style: Vivian Chan

We came across this beaut while she was promoting the feminine classic chic clothing line by Vivian Chan.  As soon as we spotted her across the room, we knew we had to feature her on the blog! The clean lines and impeccable structure were too good to pass up. Below, she is wearing the “Rosie” skirt, which is pulling a Hannah Montana by giving you the best of both worlds; shorts and a full skirt. The sheer area of the skirt keeps it classy, by revealing the perfect amount of skin. Her “Angelina” top is a modern turtleneck, that is excellent for layering! Weekend Wardrobe #8: Nordstrom, Pink, Forever 21

Greetings from beautiful Spain!! This weekend, I opted for a simple chambray / floral skirt combo. This look is super comfortable, airy, and protects your shoulders from the sun when exploring a new city! I threw on a sequined cloth necklace for a little extra glam, and put my hair in a messy braid to avoid frizz from the nearby ocean breezes. I even wore my skirt backwards (gasp) for an edgier, zipper-in-front look. Simple, fun, and perfect for travel!

This week’s look:

◊ Skirt – Pink by Victoria’s Secret ◊
◊ Chambray – Nordstrom ◊
◊ Necklace – Forever 21 ◊
◊ Sunnies – Street vendor in Granada ◊
◊ Purse – Louis Vuitton ◊

Street Style: Printed Skirts

There is nothing I love more than cheetah print…okay, maybe I love margaritas a little bit more, but we can discuss that over happy hour…

A few days ago, I had a meeting at work with this lovely girl (below), and I fell in love with her outfit. So in love, that i had to awkwardly ask if I could take some photos to show all of you!

I loved it not only because it was something that one could possibly find in my closet, but because how effortlessly it was put together! Although, a fairly simple ensemble, it exuded so much character! I have to say that it wasn’t just the cheetah print skirt that caught my attention, but the details of the outfit – the front of her top tucked into her skirt, the loose braided belt, dainty stacked rings on her fingers, and her shoes (heart eyes)! So, don’t be surprised if you see me attempting to rock this outfit sometime soon… with a margarita in hand, of course ;)

Side note: she mentioned that her skirt was from American Apparel!
