DIY Shabby Chic Bridal Shower

Here it is! Take a look into my soon-to-be sister-in-law’s shabby chic bridal shower that we threw for her! My aunt and the bridesmaids teamed up to try to make this the most beautiful, chicest, memorable bridal shower ever! I think we achieved it!

When the guests arrived, they were directed to a name tag table, where they wrote their name and relationship to the lovely couple. We used clothes pins to attach the name tag. IMG_2871

After getting a name tag, the guests were led to the next area, where they filled out advice cards and provided date night suggestions. I thought the date night jar was a very cute idea – the guests wrote down fun date ideas on a popsicle stick and placed it in the decorative jar. When the couple finally gets hitched, they can choose random date night activities from there, keeping it fun and spontaneous! I’m pretty sure I had the worst advice and date night suggestion… what a single girl to do?? haha.

Below is how we decorated the guests tables

We bought all the bird cages and filled them with moss and flowers, which served as the main center piece decoration.

We put together bridal shower favors with ‘Wedding Day Essentials’. Mostly all of the items in the bag were customized – chapstick, lotion, mints, kleenex, mints…

A shower is not complete without a candy bar! IMG_2918IMG_2897IMG_2899

Homemade cake pops/balls – red velvet and vanilla! The vintage piece the cake balls are placed on can also be used as a jewelry rack! IMG_2898IMG_2895

Customized mints!

Surprise, Surprise!

Life is full of surprises! Saturday afternoon, my family and I threw a surprise birthday party for my Grandma! Close friends and family gathered to celebrate this inspiring and beautiful woman! She was absolutely shocked and so utterly excited! The highlight of the day was when I asked her how old she was, and she responded with, “old enough to be your Grandma!” Best.Answer.Ever. Overall, it was a wonderful day with the 5 most important G’s… Good Friends, Good Family, Good Food, Good Fun, and GRANDMA! Cheers!
