Black and White

IMG_8627This is my attempt to try to stay cool, yet edgy chic, while existing in Los Angeles. Also, the front tuck – business in the front, party in the back – is one of my favorite ways to style a top and pants together. It is a way to define your waist, without making it the focal point. To add, the shorts used to be pants, but I decided to cut them because I couldn’t find black cutoffs that I liked…DIY fact.

Happy Sunday beauties! I had the best weekend sipping PSLs with besties and going to the farmers market and playing with puppies! It was a simple weekend of little pleasures, but those are seriously my fave! I’m anticipating a serious case of the #MONDAYBLUES mañana after this peaceful little perfect weekend.

Today’s ootd was Free People inspired but on a total Forever 21 / Target budget (WINNING!). I’m always trying to branch out and find fun bohemian pieces on a budget because I’m otherwise known to go overboard at Free People or Planet Blue << these shops are my weakness! This week, I rediscovered my love for Forever 21 & Tarjay Boutique and embraced fashion on a budget!

This Week’s Look:
◊ Skirt – Forever 21 ◊
◊ Top – Forever 21 ◊
◊ Necklace – Jasper Plum ◊
◊ Shoes – Target ◊
◊ Sunnies – Target ◊

Street Style: Fringed Floral Frock

We ran into this adorable chica at brunch and couldn’t get enough of her outfit! She was dressed in a fringed frock that paired extremely well with her booties! We especially loved the way she left her socks exposed!

Throw on some John Lennon inspired shades, and you’re ready to rock. LOVE IT! <3

Sunday Shopping Steals

During the week, it is difficult to find any “me” time because of work time. The weekend is my opportunity to waste my time however I would like. Today, I was planning on returning a pair of shoes, but then I passed a store, then another one, and another one. Once I find a bargain, I feel a compulsion to find more. I guess you can say that I have a problem… But to me, you can NEVER pass up a good deal, because the last thing you want, are “two wrong feet in f***ing ugly shoes!” (Erin Brockovich). Check out the bits & pieces I scored below!
